Our Discovery 4 oz candle burns for about 24 hours, the Signature 7 oz for about 38 hours, and the Statement 16 oz for about 60 hours. Burn time depends on keeping the wick trimmed and burning away from drafts.
A wood wick burns differently than a cotton wick. As the flame draws melted wax up through the wood, it makes a soft crackle, a lot like a small fireplace. The sound is natural and part of the experience.
Trim the wood wick to about 1/8 to 3/16 inch before each burn and remove any charred bits. On the first burn, let the candle stay lit until the melted wax reaches the edges of the jar to prevent tunneling. Burn on a level surface, away from drafts. More tips are on our FAQ page.
Coconut soy wax is a natural, renewable plant-based wax. Paraffin is a petroleum byproduct. Coconut soy burns cleaner with less soot and carries fragrance beautifully, so you get a truer scent in your space.
Yes. Every candle uses phthalate-free fragrance oils, natural coconut soy wax with no animal products, and sustainably sourced wood wicks. Our candles are 100% vegan.
Every candle is hand-poured in small batches in Minneapolis, Minnesota, into amber glass jars you can reuse when you're done.
